On February 9th, 2018, a driver was killed in a motor vehicle crash when a commercial vehicle operator, under the influence of alcohol, disregarded a stop sign and collided with his vehicle. Tracey & Fox represents the deceased driver’s wife and family.

Our client’s husband was a devoted father, brother and son whose tragic death was entirely preventable.

The commercial vehicle’s driver had a lengthy history of convictions for driving while intoxicated dating back to 1992, with the most recent conviction coming in November 2012. At the time of the fatal collision, the driver was on parole after release from a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility.

We believe that this lawsuit will not only result in justice and just compensation for the family, but also send a strong message to employers in Harris County and throughout Texas that this sort of conduct will not be tolerated. No other family should have to suffer as this family has.

A company’s failure to measure reasonable harm often has far-reaching and permanent consequences. The attorneys of Tracey & Fox have worked on behalf of many victims of negligence and failure to protect.

If you or someone you know has been injured by another party’s negligence, contact the attorneys of Tracey & Fox today.
